Thank you for choosing to book with Jodya Travel. We are committed to providing you with a smooth and enjoyable booking experience. Please read our booking policy.
THE BOOKING CONTRACT
Booking Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed when Jodya Travel (JT) or an authorized agent issues a written confirmation after receiving the required deposit.
- The booking confirmation email will include details of your booking, including the dates, accommodation type, and total cost.
- Please review the booking confirmation email carefully and notify us immediately if there are any errors.
- The person making the booking (you) must be at least 18 years old.
- You must provide complete and accurate information to JT.
Booking on Behalf of Others
- If you book on behalf of others, you become the designated contact person for all participants in the booking.
- As the designated contact person, you are responsible for:
- Making all payments due for the booking.
- Notifying JT or the travel agent of any changes or cancellations.
- Keeping the rest of the party informed.
- By booking on behalf of others, you confirm that you have obtained the required consents from all participants.
- You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information provided for all participants, and JT will not be liable for any errors or omissions.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes plans can change. If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.
Our cancellation fees are based on the date we receive your cancellation notice and are calculated as a percentage of the total price paid for the cancelled Tour, product, or service (excluding insurance products).
Our standard deposit to secure your booking is 20%.
Some specific products may require full payment at time of booking.
Please discuss this with your consultant.
Cancellation and amendment policy You may cancel or amend their tour for any reason at any time, however, please bear in mind our cancellation and amendment costs.
Cancellation 60 days + prior to the tour arrangements commencing: Loss of deposit amount.
This is the equivalent of 20% of the total tour cost or 250 Euros per person, whichever is the greater amount, plus any other prepaid or advance payment items.
Cancellation 60 – 21 days prior your tour commencement date: If the tour is cancelled 60-21 days prior to the tour commencement date a cancellation fee of 55% of the total tour reservation net value.
Cancellation 20 – 8 days prior your tour commencement date: If the tour is cancelled 20-8 days prior to the tour commencement date a cancellation fee of 70% of the total tour reservation net value.
Cancellation 7 days or less prior your tour commencement date: If the client cancels the tour within 7 days of the tour commencement date a cancellation fee of 100% of the total tour reservation net value.
* We accept Bank transfer, Cash : Euros, dollars, Mad….].
* Any additional services or extras will be charged separately.
Guaranteed Departures:
JT guarantees that all scheduled tour departures will take place, subject to:
- Reasonable itinerary changes (as described in the Terms)
- Good faith health and safety concerns
- Exclusions: Force Majeure (unforeseen circumstances beyond JT’s control)
Cancellation by JT: If JT cancels a tour before departure (not due to Force Majeure or customer fault/negligence), customers have three options:
- Substitute Tour of Equivalent or Superior Value: JT will offer a similar tour of equal or higher value.
- Substitute Tour of Lesser Value: If no equivalent/superior tour is available, JT will offer a lesser-value tour, and the customer can claim the price difference.
- Full Refund: Customers can opt for a full refund of all monies paid for the cancelled tour.
Exclusions: JT is not responsible for:
- Incidental expenses (e.g., visas, non-refundable flights, car parking)
- Consequential losses (e.g., loss of earnings, loss of enjoyment)
Alternative Arrangements: If a significant element of the tour cannot be provided after departure, JT will try to make alternative arrangements. If not possible, JT may offer a refund for unused products or services.
Refund at JT’s Discretion: JT reserves the right to issue a full refund instead of offering alternatives, at their sole discretion.
Flexible Travel Policy
We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. To ensure a smooth journey, we reserve the right to make reasonable changes to our products, services, or itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances. These changes may include:
- Route modifications
- Schedule adjustments
- Accommodation changes
- Activity substitutions
- Amenities alterations
- Transportation mode changes
These changes may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as:
- Force Majeure
- Illness
- Mechanical breakdown
- Flight cancellations
- Strikes
- Political events
- Entry or border difficulties
Important Note
Please be aware that we will not provide reimbursements, discounts, or refunds for services that are missed or unused after departure due to circumstances beyond our control or your own actions. This includes removal from a tour due to negligence or breach of our terms.
By booking with us, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to our flexible travel policy.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in time is at any time and check-out time is midday.
Early check-in and late check-out may be available, subject to availability.
Room Allocation of Accommodation
We will allocate your accommodation based on the type of accommodation selected at the time of booking.
While we will do our best to accommodate special requests.
Additional Guests
Additional guests may be accommodated, subject to availability and at an additional cost.
Please notify us in advance if you will be bringing additional guests.
Damage and Liability
You will be liable for any damage or loss caused to the accommodation or its contents during your stay.
You will be required to pay for any damage or loss before departure.
Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure to provide services or accommodation due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, and civil unrest.
By making a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our booking policy.
Changes to Your Itinerary
At JT, we understand that changes can occur, and we reserve the right to modify your itinerary if necessary. Here’s how we handle changes:
Changes Made by JT
If we make a significant change to your itinerary (a “Material Change”) more than 14 days before departure, we’ll notify you as soon as possible. You’ll have 7 days to choose from the following options:
- Accept the change: Continue with the amended itinerary.
- Book another product or service: Choose a different product or service of equal or greater value (you’ll pay any price difference).
- Book a lesser value product or service: Choose a different product or service of lesser value (we’ll refund the price difference).
- Cancel and receive a full refund: Cancel the amended product or service and receive a full refund for the land-only portion.
Changes to Your Booking
If you need to make changes to your booking, please note the following:
- Name changes: Any changes to your name on a booking require our approval.
- Availability and approval: Changes depend on availability and are subject to our approval and these Terms.
- Extra costs: You’ll be charged for any extra costs incurred, plus an administrative fee.
- Cancellation: Cancellation of any Tour, product, or service is subject to our cancellation terms.
- Last-minute changes: No changes are permitted within 10 days of departure without our approval.
Itinerary Changes After Departure
Once your Tour has departed, we may need to make changes due to unforeseen circumstances, operational concerns, or concerns for your health, safety, enjoyment, or comfort. These changes are at our discretion.
Financial Responsibility
You’re responsible for ensuring you have sufficient financial resources to cover incidental expenses during travel, including any changes to your itinerary. We’re not liable for any indirect or consequential losses associated with changes to a booking or itinerary.
Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing adequate travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
Additional Cancellation Fees
Additional cancellation fees may be incurred for reservations for other activities and accommodations. We reserve the right to reclaim these costs from you.
Please note that cancellation fees and policies may vary depending on the specific tour or product booked. It’s essential to review and understand our cancellation policy before booking your tour.
