Tour Plan

Day 1 : arrival to Casablanca

Arrival at Casablanca airport, (If the flight arrives in the morning, the night will be spent in Marrakech.)

transfer and installation in a charming Riad. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.

After breakfast in the riad, you can enjoy a guided morning tour of Marrakech “the red city of Morocco.” You will see all the sites with historical values ​​and cultural interest, including  Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs, the beautiful Bahia Palace and the Ben Youssef Koranic school. through the streets – get a chance to see all the different craftsmen of the medina performing their jobs before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna. then in the afternoon visit the Majorelle gardens, After dinner, you will have the opportunity to walk through the place entertained by magicians, storytellers, their teeth and food vendors. Overnight in the traditional  Riad.

Departure from your Riad after breakfast, The first stop near the beautiful Lalla Takerkoust lake, that’s using to save water coming down from the melting snow on the Atlas Mountains peaks, a great mixture of colors from the lake water to the white snow Atlas summits. Then continue driving higher in the Atlas Mountains, arrive to Kik plateau the place with gorgeous view, meet the Berber people.

Offroading adventure time begin from Asni valley to Ourika valley via Sidi Faress near Oukaimeden the ski resort in Morocco.

Finally you arrive to Ourika valley to admire the one of the beautiful valleys in Morocco, time for lunch, After lunch  it’s the time for a  short hiking to discover the Setti Fatima waterfalls.

Cameback to Marrakech and spend the night in the Riad.

Ouzoud waterfalls is one of the most visited places in Morocco, located 93 miles (150 km) northeast of Marrakech, you will be dazzled by the views of verdant valleys, mills, vast fields of olive, apricot and fig trees, Ouzoud waterfalls will make you want to dive into a world of fairies where the waterfalls, more than 100 Meters high, create an eternal spectacular rainbow.

During this Marrakech Ouzoud trip you’ll be able to hike the beautiful site at your own pace, have a beautiful walk through the olive groves  until you reach the bottom of the waterfall, then after a 2 hours walk, you’ll be able to take a refreshing swim in the river (if attempted).

Before sunset, you may get the chance of spotting a family of Barbary macaques, coming out to enjoy the cool breeze that smoothly blows over the place.

Cameback to Marrakech and spend the night in the Riad.

Departure in the morning from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech towards the Gorges de Dades, pass by the highest road pass of Morocco (2260 m), the Tizintichka pass (literally the ‘pasture ‘ in Tamazight) . Stop en route to take pictures.

Continuation to Telouet, visit of the Glaoui Kasbah (sometimes also known as the Glaoui Palace), a kasbah built between the 19th century and the 20th century, the most famous of which is probably Thami El Glaoui.

Then pass through the valley of Ounila to Ait Ben Haddou. This valley was the obligatory passage of the caravans between Marrakech and Ouarzazate, and constitutes an extraordinary environment. Throughout this valley, a striking contrast between the ocher of the earth and the rocks and the verdure of the plantations is offered to the walkers who take the time to observe it.

Visit of Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most famous of the Moroccan South, now classified World Heritage by Unesco. This ksar was built a few hundred years ago on a promontory in order to escape the invasions of foreign tribes. You have to go up to the ruined granary to admire the view over the ksar, the palm grove and the surrounding stones desert. This fortified town looks deserted. In fact only a few families still live there).

After lunch in a typical restoration on the spot, departure towards the gorges of Dades crossing the Valley of the Roses.

Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast, departure to the dunes of erg Chebbi, pass by the palm grove of Tinghir then the gorges of Todra.

Walking on foot, then we continue towards Arfoud. Visit of a geological site of fossils (Amonite …) and lunch en route and Continuation by a track which extends the dunes of erg chebbi to the village of Khamlia (possibility to have tea with a gnaoua family) Around 5 pm you Climb the dromedaries to reach your bivouac in the middle of the dunes, with a stop to watch the sunset.

Dinner and night under Berber tent with evening around fire, music in Tam Tam with the nomads.

Breakfast between dunes before we say farewell to the desert and leave for the Middle Atlas. 

We highly suggest waking up early to witness a sunrise over the Sahara. While preparing our breakfast it is possible to travel around the dunes by 4WD and visit the nearby villages. 

Then we’ll continue our Morocco tour and cross the Middle Atlas and a new change of landscape along the way. Along the way to Fez we’ll stop in Ifrane. For a moment feel as if Switzerland had been settled in Africa, hence its nickname “little Switzerland”. This city was built during the protectorate in the 1930s. 

Then we’ll arrive in Fez. 

Through stunning landscapes you’ll reach Fes – so make sure you have your camera ready. Morocco’s cultural and spiritual centre, Fes is a must if you have time. Its Medina is one of the most extensive and best conserved historic towns of the Arab Muslim world.

A half-day guided tour of the Medina takes you from Bab Boujloud (the main entrance of Fès El Bali) through the history of Karaouine Mosque, Zaouia Moulay Driss, the Koranic schools and the famous tanneries. The narrow lanes of bazaars, food stands, and craft shops offer endless opportunities to learn and explore. Return to your riad in the evening to relax.

We’ll begin our adventure early today and drive to Meknes for a walk through this imperial city. Expect to visit the 18th-century Bab Mansour, the ornamental gate to the city, the bustling souk, the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail
Later, we’ll continue through the rolling hills to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Roman Empire at this UNESCO World Heritage site. 
Afterwards, we’ll continue to Chafchaouen, one of Morocco’s most interesting cities.

After breakfast in your riad, transfer  to  Tanger or Casablanca airport for your return flight.
