11 Day Siroua Mountain Trek

Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
- Transfer: Pick-up from Marrakech Airport and transfer to a charming riad in the heart of Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech to Taliouine
- Drive: Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the dramatic Tizin’Test Pass (2,100m), heading to Taliouine (1,063m), famous for its saffron fields.
- Explore: Visit the town and its important kasbah.
- Overnight: Stay in Taliouine.
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 3: Taliouine to Akhfamane
- Trek: Begin with a gentle walk along the Oued Zagmouzen, passing small villages, and arrive at Akhfamane (1,250m), where you’ll camp for the night.

Day 4: Akhfamane to Ti n’Iddr
- Trek: Walk towards Ti n’Iddr (1,684m), passing through Mazwad (1,441m), a picturesque village with narrow gorges leading up into the mountains.
- Overnight: Camp in Ti n’Iddr.
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Walking Time: Approx. 5 hours.
Day 5: Ti n’Iddr to Tegragra
- Trek: Hike through the dramatic Assif n’Wamrane Valley to Tegragra (2,650m), a summer pasture where transhumance (seasonal migration) is still practiced.
- Overnight: Camp at Tegragra, close to a water source.
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Walking Time: Approx. 5-6 hours.
Day 6: Tegragra – Optional Summit Ascent
- Optional Ascent: Hike to the summit of Jbel Siroua (3,305m) for stunning views of the surrounding valleys. Alternatively, climb Jbel Guiliz (2,905m) before descending to Waterfall Camp (2,400m).
- Overnight: Camp at Waterfall Camp by the river.
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Walking Time: Approx. 7 hours (depending on the summit ascent).
Day 7: Waterfall Camp to Tislit
- Trek: Walk through the charming village of Tizgui (2,200m), visit its fortified granary, and continue to the surreal rock formations of Tislit Gorge, camping overnight near lush palm trees.
- Overnight: Camp in Tislit.
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Walking Time: Approx. 5 hours.
Day 8: Tislit to Ait Ben Haddou
- Trek & Drive: Cross open terrain and fields of wildflowers to Souk Larba (1,675m). Afterward, drive along scenic routes to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Ksar.
- Explore: Visit the ancient Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its clay kasbahs.
- Overnight: Stay in Ait Ben Haddou.

Day 9: Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech
