Toubkal Summit Trek 4 Day Adventure

Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
- Accommodation: Hotel
- Meals: Free (dinner not included)
- Transfer: 10 minutes to your hotel
- Upon arrival in Marrakech, you will be transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a first taste of the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Wander through the souks filled with exotic scents, precious fabrics, and traditional crafts. Don’t miss the Djemaa el-Fna square, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where snake charmers, entertainers, and local traders create a bustling atmosphere.
Day 2: Marrakech – Imlil – Toubkal Refuge
- Trekking Time: 5.5 hours | Positive Elevation Gain: 1,200 m
- Accommodation: Toubkal Refuge (Neltner Refuge, 3,210 m)
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
- Transfer: 1.5 hours to Imlil
- After breakfast, you’ll depart Marrakech for Imlil, a mountain village and the starting point for your trek. Upon arrival, meet your muleteer who will carry your luggage to the refuge. Begin your ascent by following the irrigation canals that traverse terraced fields, and discover the ingenuity of Berber mountain life. Enjoy lunch near the village of Sidi Chamarouch before continuing your journey. As the landscape becomes more arid, you’ll encounter shepherds and their flocks as you ascend to the Toubkal Refuge, where you’ll spend the night.
Day 3: Toubkal Refuge – Toubkal Summit (4,167 m) – Imlil – Marrakech
- Trekking Time: 8-9 hours | Positive Elevation Gain: 1,050 m | Negative Elevation Gain: 2,270 m
- Accommodation: Hotel in Marrakech
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch (dinner not included)
- Transfer: 1.5 hours to Marrakech
- Begin your ascent to Toubkal’s summit early in the morning. The route follows a steep valley, emerging at a pass before leading to the summit. Once at the top, enjoy breathtaking views over the Atlas Mountains and the plains of Haouz. After taking in the scenery, descend back down the same route to the Toubkal Refuge for lunch. Continue your descent to Imlil, where a taxi will take you back to Marrakech for the evening.
Day 4: Marrakech – Departure
- Meals: Breakfast (lunch and dinner free)
- Transfer: 10 minutes to the airport
- If your flight time allows, enjoy a final tour of Marrakech, perhaps visiting the Majorelle Gardens or exploring more of the city’s historical sites. Then, transfer to the airport for your return flight.
