Marrakech Ourzazate
Day 1 : Marrakech – Ouarzazate
08.30 am: departure from Marrakech, cross the pass of Tichka (high Atlas), take the off-road towards Telouet, crossing berber villages. Afternoon: visit the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou (cultural heritage of UNESCO). Overnight in Ouarzazate, a pleasant desert town and « capital » of the South of Morocco.
Day 2: Marrakech - Telouet - Ait Ben Haddou - The Gorges of Dades
Driving into the deep desert to the Chigaga Camp, located in the middle of the big dunes called «ocean of sand ». camel ride in big dunes. Overnight stay in typical Berber tents or under the stars.
Day 3 : Chigaga Camp - M’Hamid - Zagora
Driving through the desert to M’Hamid ; the last village at the door of the desert. Driving through typical Berber villages to Zagora, a beautiful small town at the door of the desert. visit of the town and the Oasis; camel ride. Overnight stay in a Traditional Riad.
Day 4 : Zagora – Marrakech
Driving through the amazing palm grove, valley of « Draa » famous for the numerous traditional kasbahs (fortress). Visit Ait Ourire Kasbah (cultural heritage of UNESCO). Cross the pass of Tichka (high Atlas). Arriving in Marrakech at the evening.
